Kiriban Numero Quatro

Tue Jun 17, 2008, 1:43 PM
  • Mood: Sorrow
  • Reading: JFC Fuller - Julius Caesar: Man, Soldier & Tyr
  • Playing: Garmarna - Guds Spelemän
  • Eating: chocolate
  • Drinking: lots of coffee
Next kiriban is at 20,000 - just so you know. If you are interested in a gift picture (scan), watch this space :).

The rules:

Prove that you are the Chosen One by providing me with a screenshot of your lucky number 20,000.
If number 20,000 doesn't claim their picture, the viewer closest to them gets to claim one. Just leave me a message somewhere on my page, or send me an e-mail at severelysigune at yahoo dot co dot uk.

I'll do my best and draw a subject of your choice, provided I think I can handle it :D.
I don't draw subjects of a so-called 'adult nature' - I don't go any further than PG-13. Also, NO nekkid Snape. Not ever.

It's possible that your gift will be drawn on the train :P. But I promise you won't notice *g*.

Okay, so your wish is my command now :). What would you like? It may take a while until the picture is done, but I always put my best foot forward...

I've got two requests (both involving Snape), so pick which one you like better. First one: Snape was both a spy and a newly-minted teacher at around age 22. I'd like to see your rendition of him at that era of his life. Or, the second one: some rare peaceful moment from Snape's school years; he could be reading, gathering potion ingredients, defacing his textbooks...any moment from his school days that wasn't horrible. =)

If that's too open-ended, let me know and I'll try to be more specific. Or if you're completely tired of Snape (is that possible?), I have a game character of mine that might be fun to draw instead.

I have been working on a Snape commission all day, and one thing it has brought home is that I still adore Snape :D. I'll glady do one of your Snapes. Open-ended is fine. Let me think your requests over and see which one gives me the best idea. Do you have a preference for a specific medium?

No preference of medium, I'll leave that up to you.

We have all of them by now, I suppose - Gud's Spelemän, Vedergällningen, Hildegard von Bingen, Vittrad and Garmarna. They're all lovely, though Hildegard von Bingen is quite different, as it was a special project. As well I do have several discs of "Triakel", a threesome with Garmarna's singer Emma Härdelin. I like scandinavian modern folk/rock music very much, groups like Hedningarna, Värttinä, Gjallarhorn, Ranarim and Kelpie. Do you know any of them?

Oh, sure! Hedningarna, Värttinä and Gjallarhorn are no strangers to me - don't know the other two though. Actually, that reminds me that I really need to buy some Hedningarna and Gjallarhorn albums. I used to listen to my sister's, but she moved out of the house and I haven't heard that music since. Argh!

I'm just seeing what you are acutally listening to - you're virtually the first person ever I meet who's liking Garmarna...
