This is a sort of joke, but it only works if you know that the woman is my OFC whose name is Brynhild.

Inspired by a combination of Wagner's Die Walküre and Snape's fate in Deathly Hallows ;).

This is so amazing! I landed here through a link to your gallery on therealsnape's LJ and am completely in awe before this wonderful piece! I have a mad crush on Brünnhilde, but that's only part of it. The scene is fitting, the detail amazing; that HORSE, my arse, who'd have thought old Grane was so beautiful. And Brynhild -- wow! Uniform, nose, cleavage, the gorgeous mix of feminine and slightly butch, and I love her hands.

Thank you very much! Apparently my silliest ideas result in the best pictures... I enjoyed drawing and painting this. Grane was tough though - he looked like a Little Pony at first ;P.

I have to confess that I'm very fond of Brynhild. The funniest reaction to her that I ever got was from a young guy who said, "She'd be so hot if only you gave her a smaller nose! Why on earth don't you?!" But her nose is just what it's supposed to be; there's no way I'm changing it :).

Have you seen the fanfic "The Hall of Heroes," in which Snape dies in battle and gets carried off to the wrong afterlife by a novice valkyrie who mistakes a half-blood for a half-giant? It's a hoot, especially the Ballad of Severus the Small and his Tiny, Tiny Stick. The following is my own personal version of the chorus:

Oh, the sleek black hair,
The giantesses sigh!
The high-crowned nose,
The giantesses cry!
Others may be tall
But Severus the Small
Beats them all with his tiny, tiny stick.
Don't be fooled by his tiny, tiny stick!
