OF COURSE lots of commenters on LJ thought that the girl in the picture must be Hermione's daughter because she has curly hair. I cannot forbid you to think so, but - no. No, no, no. Nothing could have been further from my mind.

Classic illustration style that I love so well. Her little eye brows are up. She isn't happy to be going toe to toe with the old man, but she does not seem likely to give in either.

I was thinking "humorously horrible" ;). The Snapeling isn't going to obey; she drives her father up the wall sometimes. I kind of feel for both of them :P.

As for Snermione - well, I guess that if I were to imagine a daughter for Snape and Hermione (which I so would not - *grins*), it wouldn't be this one. But, freedom of interpretation and all that.

I saw this at deeply_horrible ages ago. If I may ask: Who is the little one's mother? (I admit, I thought Hermione when I first saw her hair.)

Just from this picture, I'd say Snape's gonna have his hands full with her.

Lol! Great drawing! I love how the little girl is not intimidated at all by Snape's threatening stance, just calmly "no, I'm *not* eating this". It's clear that she can hold her own against him, and he'll lose that battle. :D

Who is the girl's mother, if it's not Hermione?
