I suddenly felt inspired to do this watercolour of (my version of) Ambiorix, to celebrate the Ambiorix exhibition that will open in September 2009 (Gallo-Romeins Museum, Tongeren, Belgium).

This is really beautiful! I love the color in the hair and the cloak, the folds and the strands and the shadows all are very fine examples of the very best things that can be done with the medium.

Also like the expression. He looks peeved. Have and exhibit about ME will they....
